Bridgia

SUPPORTING TRANSITIONS

Powering Students' Career Readiness for the World of Work

Bridgia empowers Africa’s students across higher institutions with access to career programs, resources, and tools with which employers can also connect with students and build talent pipelines.

MISSION-DRIVEN

We Are Committed to Making Higher Education in Africa Lead to Great Career Outcomes

According to the IMF, there will be more young Africans entering the workforce each year by 2035 than in the rest of the world combined. Higher education remains vital to equipping millions of students to thrive in the global world of work. Bridgia is making it possible to maximise this opportunity for higher education in Africa through partnership with higher institutions and employers.

How Bridgia works

1

Partnership with HEIs

Bridgia works with Career Centres and Internship Offices in higher institutions to launch a Portal with career resources, programs, and opportunities.

2

Expanding Access to Students

Students have access to programs and resources tailored to their academic journey from first to graduating year, earning verifiable certificates of program completion.

3

Connections with Employers

Programs from employers are accessible on the platform and work-ready students from program completions are aggregated for employers.

Bridgia provides rich content + customisable platforms to our partner institutions and employers to provide career support, connections, and opportunities to students.

Students have access to:

Exploration Resources

Profiles of industries, career clusters, relevant employability and digital skills.

Career Opportunities

Internships and other career opportunities are made available to students, and work-ready students to employers.

What Students across Our Partner Institutions Say

“I learnt that to be able to thrive I’d need a combination of skills (soft, technical and digital skills), have good connections with a notable online presence. Through the personality assessment, I saw the need to work on my self-esteem and self-control the most.”

“The programme expanded on some areas in the internship journey that I did not know about but I am now aware of. The Digital Skills Assessment helped me realize that there are still a lot more skills I have to acquire and hone to be an effective digital literate.
